Silent Hill 4: The Room

Some nice options like widescreen support up to 1920 and dynamic shadows (had to enable it in the options). Game never looked that good :) Btw. no problems with my controller. Connected my PC to a TV, Controller + sofa, rain outside and it's dark. Perfect. After Silent Hill 3 my favourite Silent Hill.

First : I want to warn that this is the Original PC version release, and so is not a HD remaster or anything like that. Now time for the review. The game is pretty much intact except they did some work. They added a 4k and 1440p option, they fixed some bugs and even restore some of the hauntings that weren't in the PC version (However i think a few is still missing). They have also fixed the cutscene so they run to 30 FPS from 15 FPS in the original release. The game run super well and he would be a lie to tell that KONAMI haven't made some work. However i do understand that people wanted Silent Hill 1 , 2 , 3 instead of this one or at the really least a bundle with all 4. It's what i wanted too. I will however put a minus for this port is the lack of a 60 FPS option. To KONAMI Time for you to release the Silent Hill 2 & 3 From HD collection for PC. I still have the Original release for both but for those who can't or don't have them.

SH4 always was my least favourite of the series but I’m happy it’s finally available on GOG. I really hope It increases the chance of releasing Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 some day. Port itself is really good - game works flawlessly in widescreen and high resolutions. Silent Hill 4 can be frustrating at times, but still remains very unique and atmospheric, altough different than previous entries.

A very interesting old horror game and it runs perfect on Windows 10 ! NEXT TIME SILENT HILL 2 & 3 .... PLEASE GOG ... :3 !!!!

Great port of this game. Played with Xbox series x controller and everything worked great. Im really happy about this game! Definitely going to beat it more than once. Thank you so much GOG for bringing this game to Windows 10!
