Sophisticated Rogue strategy.
Not only is this a highly stimulating and fun puzzle game with great variety between runs, but it also contains some extremely good music and masterful pixel-art. It's very challenging too! Big stamp of approval from me.

Took me a while... BUT!
I am a massive rougelike/lite fan and I had heard a lot of very good things about Shogun Showdown, so I decided to pull the trigger. An hour in I wasnt enjoying it at all. Luckily I could see there was enough there to persist. Then all of a sudden, BOOM! it clicked. I am terrible at it but enjoying it and even loving trying the different skills and weapons more than most other games in this genre where I find I get my favourites are really prefer them.

Interesting Form of TBC
A very simple premise, but with enough variation in moves and upgrade potential to make personalised tactical development a genuinely versatile pleasure. Also a nice aesthetic, if you dig on bit-art.

Great puzzle roguelike
I have not beaten it yet and I'm not sure I'll stick around long enough to do it, but it's a real gem. It actually plays different than most other games in the genre, with movement across the "board" being the most distinctive mechanic. If you are into turn-based roguelikes, definitely give it a go!
