Finally it's here
This game is one of my favourite FPS games, so I'm really glad it's finally avavilble on GOG. It feels and plays a lot like Duke Nukem 3D, although Shadow Warrior sometimes features vehicles. It's a great FPS with great humor, cool weapons and lots of different enemies. The locations are all looking very nice and are quite varied. Shadow Warrior is one of those great FPS games with the typical feeling that all games that have been made with the Build Engine have.

A Classic No Matter How you Slice it
One of the best shooters the build engine has to offer. The raunchy, one-note humor might not be your cup of tea, but the level design is just amazing. It's pretty much Duke 3.5D. They really don't make shooters like this anymore. Weapons sound great, music is forgettable. The cutscenes are funny for the wrong reasons. The expansions are worth your time but are certainly a step down from the main game. You can buy the Redux edition for a few bucks if you don't want to screw around with mods, but this version can be just as good.

Great Classic!
One of the best games of my youth. I wouldn't mind if more of them were made on build engine nowadays. I love the design of expansion pack levels - especially the one on the plane. Difficulty level is also very well balanced. There are some minor freezes and crashes, but since this is a DOS version, it's really not a big deal. Especially when it's for free.
