The best Shadow Warrior title to date
Shadow Warrior 3 showcases how much Flying Wild Hog has matured as an FPS developer ever since taking the helm of the franchise in 2013. Previous titles showed an skeleton of what modern Lo Wang could achieve in a combat sandbox and they finally did it with this one. The Katana is still viable as a combat option but is no longer as OP as in previous titles and the guns don't require random stat mutators to deal with the threats ina procedurally generated level. You shoot them until they die and that's how it always should be, and the level design is handcrafted, linear and streamlined. Some will probably dislike this title because of how many cues it takes from DOOM Eternal both in terms of resource management, platforming and combat structure but, in my opinion, if any retro FPS revival game franchise could take inspiration from what Eternal offered to the genre, this was the appropiate one to do so. My only nitpick is how short the campaign is but given just how good it is, i have found myself replaying it over and over after finishing it, first on medium and then twice more on hard. Overall i think this game is amazing and if you want a slighly challenging FPS title inspired by the likes of DOOM Eternal and Ultrakill, this one is worth every penny.

Better than SW1 and SW2.
Really loving this game, its basically doom eternal but with a touch of Lo-Wang. Cant say i liked the 2:nd game because of "bullet sponge" enemies. But SW3 har a totally different flow and of course there is some platforming, but not to the extent of being annying. I dont really care much about the story and skip most of the cutscenes. The performance is ok, love the inclusion of DLSS, works flawlessly. Had only 1 crash so far. The only downside is that the game is maybe a little bit 2 short. Hope they release some DLC because this is the kind of game that would benefit from it. Other than that the game is really fun and gameplay is solid.
