A nice game to relax

Pros -Lighthearted atmosphere -Nice characters -Battles are easy but not too easy, so you still have to manage your items and skills -Shopping and crafting done properly. You can craft something that can't be bought from the shop. Also crafting and cooking takes some time like in the real world. -Time management system. Usually in-game timers are frustrating or putting too much pressure on a player, but in this game it actually gives you the feeling that you live in a 'kinda real' world Cons -Minor bugs are present. For example the DARK resistance Accessories items has effect on the THUN parameter, Maybe it's only Linux-specific problem. -Items description sometimes can be frustrating. Like 'small boost to STR'. How 'small' it is specifically? To answer that question I have to either buy this item or find it in the dungeon.

Not enjoyable in core gameplay

Basically the game is cute and well done as far as the visual novel elements go, but it falls completely flat in the dungeon crawl element. - All the walls look exactly the same, you'd get lost without the minimap to tell you where you're even facing in 3 seconds flat. - The dungeon has lots of unnecessary elements: a key that's only usable once per door for each dungeon level, after using it you have to find a key rest icon in the dungeon to reset the key, randomly there will be arrows in the dungeon that will mess with where you want to go for no apparent reason, you can turn them at special points, but you have no control over where they end up pointing to. - You're limited by ingame time until 7 p.m. to explore the dungeon and if you die you lose some gold, doesn't seem harsh at first, but the main goal is to pay back the devil that revived you in quite a bit of cash, so added dying builds up fast and so does your gold loss. It basically feels like the main element of the game is fighting me from actually playing barely going in. Nope, dropped. There are better, less mechanically tedious dungeon crawlers out there.

Cute dungeon crawler

A cute dungeon crawler with a likable cast, cute enemies, and I found the debt payments not too restrictive to enjoying the gameplay. For exploring the dungeon, you are limited by the ingame passage of time and an optional stamina bar, while on the story side it is predominately linear, with a few minor choices sprinkled on. The character choice determines parts of the story (including the romance) rather than any choices the player makes. An enjoyable game of death, debts, yuri, and beating up a kid for the local meal deal.

Angelic devils

A visual novel/simple JRPG that has you enter the shoes of a woman who is revived by a devil and has to pay off the monetary debt that she took on as a result. Despite the grim sounding premise it is laid back, saccharine and pretty wholesome too in spite of how physically blessed the characters are. You can visit a number of locations and interact with different characters, being mindful of the time travelling to each location takes. A decent chunk of your time will be spent in the dungeon, exploring floors and earning money to pay off your debt in turn based battles. The dungeon slowly introduces puzzles to solve to progress in it and of course throws stronger enemies at you as you progress. The puzzles can be interesting but the combat can get repetitive, and the areas all look the same, though it isn't too bad with the dungeon and the game's length. The game is full of fun interactions with its colorful cast and has nice art too, and is charming enough to make you forgive its writing shortcomings. If you like visual novels and cute girls doing cute(?) things I can recommend it.

A cute and relaxed game

This game is overall quite relaxed and easy. The main quest was never an issue given how readily available money is and ultimately I was playing for the dungeon crawling and character interactions. The dungeon itself is rather plain and uniform but you'll be looking at the map instead of the actual dungeon most of the time in these games. The writing is really one of the main draws and tends to be somewhat tropey with elements of wlw/yuri; overall it is enjoyable if you know what you're coming into. This is an enjoyable game and I'd say it's worth it at full price depending on your niche and absolutely worth it on sale.
