Description
The sequel to the award winning adventure hit Secret Files Tunguska. Famine in Africa, floods in Southeast Asia, economic crisis in Europe, and civil wars in South America, the world is on the brink of disaster. Nina Kalenkow is trying to escape all of this as well as her failed relationship with Max Gruber on a nostalgic cruise to Portugal.

Not as good as the first one

The game is fine and the story is good. I liked it averall, but there are certain things that annoyed me. The characters in general have cliche traits, which isn´t at all unusual in a videogame. But I would say that it reaches the parody level in character design. I liked it in some parts of the game like in the ship area, for example, where it helped adding tension and drama. But important characters like the bad guy, ended up seeming silly to me. Jeez! Some puzzles.

EQUALLY ENJOYABLE AS THE FIRST ONE

I see a few negative reviews about how Secret Files 2 is worse than 1, illogical puzzles etc... Everyone has the right to share their opinion and I respect that. But personally I thought that this game was very well done: interesting plot (won't spoil, discover it for yourslelf) - just like in Tunguska, our 2 heroes will do a race against time to save the world. The graphics are amazing, no bugs, the puzzles well balanced, in the same style than Tunguska. I played this game only once, a few years ago, but I still remember how enjoyable it was. Overall, I would recommend you to buy this game if you loved Tunguska, but again, don't expect to feel exactly the same emotions... each game is a game on its own, though maybe some will like the first one's plot better, I found them equally enjoyable. I don't dare to compare them. I seriously loved them both.

Not as good as 1, better than 3.

You will indeed have puzzles you solve by combining nonsense in your inventory and rubbing it on things. This is way more obvious than 1. You do have a lot of locations and a fun story though. I will say the puzzles get better as the game goes on. Really the guy character has the worst of it for puzzles.

Enjoyable

Another good point-and-click game, although often illogical. Voice acting is much better than in the first installment - and still highly annoying. German humour is still stale. Apart from these, we had a good time playing this game.

An okay adventure game

It's an adventure game about saving the world. I liked the game, but not sure if I would recommend it as your first adventure game (be sure to play the first part). The puzzles sometimes are not quite clear. Furthermore I'm not sure about Nina's character. Sometimes she acts as a damsel in distress and other times she act as a heroine. Confusing, but overall an enjoyable experience.
