Sea Dogs: Caribbean Tales

Sincerly a very good game with the historical inmersion supermod that you can get in the community forum, and the G.O.G. version is the most stable and the best

This game's graphics is really beautiful, sadly it's also very buggy. I thought I could just toughen up and live with those buggy, but in the end it's simply impossible. What really killed this game for me was the enemy AI ships, sometimes they just sit there and not moving at all. At this point you may say just install one of the super mods and be happy. I have tried all of the super mods, they fix one thing and break another, overall I would not say the mods for this game make it more playable.

Okay, my first game review on GOG but just started the game after I got it on sale (along with #1 and #3). Have to remember it's a 2006 game so won't have context sensitive help and will have other dated quirks. Please read another other review that gives info about the Historical Immersion supermod as that is an excellent "mod." So really, I was able to compare both and make use of the added goodie manual and the OST from Sea Dogs 1. I plan to continue the learning curve, master the keys needed, and have fun sailing and trading, with some fights.

Don't have many bugs compared to COAS, sea looks better too

very nice game perhaps a bit repetetive but still plenty of ships and plenty missions. With mods this game is insanely good apperntly have yet to try mods. but Pirate'sAhoy has plenty
