Really fun, but really buggy

I finished the Ancaria campaign and started the Underworld campaign. I couldn't finish it because I encountered a game-breaking bug. At the Dryad treetop village, just before entering a cave to the east of it, my gladiator character suddenly could not pick up loot or do any combat arts and combos. I entered another cave and fought a demon-boss. After defeating it, it dropped a lot of loot. I tried to pick up all the loot and my character just started to run in one place where the loot was...end of my game. I put in a lot of hours in (190 hours), so it that was a little disappointing. The game can be finished, many have done it, so play at your own risk. There are other bugs such as broken quests and weird animations. Sometimes I couldn't do my combo for no reason. Besides the bugs I really enjoyed the game and I had just as much fun as Diablo or Baldur's Gate. If you're looking for an ARPG to fill some time, this is a good one to try. It's over 10 years old, but the graphics are still good and good music to support it. I recommend it to any ARPG fan, but you must bear the bugs in this game to enjoy it. Now on to Sacred 2!

Lots of fast-action fun

I absolutely loved this game when it first came out, replayed it immediately, and have come back to it from time to time. Like Divine Divinity and other games of this ilk, the action is fast and furious and the game world fun to explore. At the current price of $1.99 this is a steal that will give you many hours of hack-n-slash bliss.

Better than Diablo II

Well, I liked it a lot better at least. It is very Diablo-esque, but there are more RPG elements in the form of attributes, skills and combat arts. Why I like it more than Diablo II is that the world is an actual open world rather than a series of individual levels, and this makes it more atmospheric. It does not have the randomization of Diablo - although I always found that a fairly weak feature at best - but it makes up for it by just having a much bigger world, with many hidden locations. The main quest is fairly weak, designed to give you a tour of the map. This is a game that is more about side quests and exploration. There are about 10 dragons of different types hidden (mostly) about the map and these make for the most challenging fights. The main quest actually bypasses most of them, so if you just stick to the main quest you will miss a lot of the best parts of the game.

it's a youngtimer game

very nice as always, but sometimes it crushes. Always remember to save every 5/10 minutes

Pretty good diablo fix

A little rough around the edges at times but a fun ARPG with a decent amount of build depth
