RollerCoaster Tycoon® Deluxe

My park is going gang busters. I've been downing caffeine for the last few hours. I have 1289 guests that are sick from riding my rollercoasters, but happy AND broke. Words cant discribe how nice it is to play a game that brings this much enjoyment. If you've never played, you're missing out. If you have played, you know you want to again. For its time, there was NONETHING that compared to this blockbuster. I'll leave it at that, as I have to go repair my "Tunnel of Terror".

I learnt about playing this game from my sister, who started it. Initially, I thought it was just boring build-a-park game. But the sounds of children laughing, the customizable rollercoasters and endless dirty sidewalks and challenges of managing a park (e.g. raise park ratings) appealed to me. Its really a masterpiece worth playing. For this game, i recommend anyone to start a new game and set the resolution to the right settings before playing for best experience.

I love this game, I first bought RCT when it was first out in 1999. I've never stopped playing it over the years, I even still have it on disc somewhere. But, disc drives aren't really a thing anymore, so the GOG version makes it convenient. I just installed it on my recently purchased Windows 11 gaming PC and it runs flawlessly. I played for a little while to be sure, and it was all good. So, it's a strong recommend from me. This is an oldie but goldie and it will run on modern systems.

Played this for hours and hours and never seems to get old for me. It is so much fun designing your own roller coasters and designing your own park.. If you like any type of sims or enjoy theme parks in general you will never get tired of this game.

RCT is one of the greatest classic tycoon games. You get to control your parks and create the most brilliant coasters. Watch as your visitors ride and react to your creations and park design. It is addictive and very enjoyable. The expansions add even more fun.
