Roller Coaster Tycoon® 2: Triple Thrill Pack

[x] it's roller coaster tycoon....2 [ ] wheeeeere is my fast forward button ---- more rides, more locations, branding tie-ins where they got the Six Flags company to give them some maps based on their real-world parks, the only problem with the game is the same from RCT1 - coasting to your victory over a long time period (you otherwise got the objectives in year 2-3, why wait to the end of year 4?) and it's even less fun when there is no fast forward button - I went and prepared food at one point waiting for one of the most basic parks to finish, having achieved all the do-by-year-2 objectives at the end of year 1. Just like 1, the game is fun to watch all the little visitors run around, but not THAT fun. also this game takes several seconds to quit when that first game was INSTANT due to sawyer's skills with assembly

I remember spending hours and hours playing this game as a kid. It's without a doubt one of the best games on GOG. The replay value is incredible, and well worth the many hours I spent playing this as a kid.

RCT2 is a brilliant game. Timeless graphics, surprising depth, funny and addictive. This release is relatively stable, I occasionally get a crash (no autosave, so make sure you save every now and then) but the game is still very playable. One of my favourite games when I was younger and it is still stealing my time!

Really glad this game is now preserved on GoG. RCT2 (and the original) are gems from my childhood, spending countless hours designing and making the best parks possible. This version runs great on modern machines, and there's even great mods out that can add multiplayer functionality. All in all, this is an entertaining game. If you've never played this before, you'll love it!

I tried launching the game from GOG Galaxy and it would get a graphics error. I did every troubleshooting step I could find for the game and compatibility settings and playing from the direct .exe file and it would not work consistantly. One time I got it to run, then when I tried running it again without changing anything else, I ended up with a black screen again with sound. I'm disappointed that gog would continue to sell a game that doesn't even work. The game is awesome, but it is unplayable unless you have a really old computer with really old drivers (I did not see the warning about requiring ancient drivers when I bought the game).
