immersive & enjoyable ww2 fps
I played this game years ago, so can't recall all the details, pros and cons. Old-school fps but not "hordes of monsters" ala doom. More sophisticated gameplay, great levels, graphics and ww2-era atmosphere. Not to be compared with the MoH series or suchlike "realistic" ww2 shooters of the time, but a really enjoyable, immersive fps; wolfenstein storyline including a bit of supernatural silliness.

Surprisingly Good
After watching some of the newer Wolfenstein games I decided to get into the series but wasn't sure where to start. I ended up starting with the first Wolfenstein game but it just wasn't that fun. I recommend starting with this game. It plays very smoothly and the controls and story are much better.

Absolute killer of a game !
Can't believe it's already 20 years old... Played it back then on my PC, but didn't do it completely because I was playing competitive CS.. But it left me a very very good impression back then, and here I finally did it in 2021 and it was awesome. Crazy good game, and challenging at that...! I'll probably get some mods as it looks there are many for this awesome Wolfenstein..!

Fast-paced hitscan action
Fluid omni-directional movement, strong enemy encounter design, and an excellent variety in environments make this a fun and replayable FPS classic.
