Awesome game, definitely worth your time

Resonance was a pleasant surprise. I finished the whole game in one afternoon, which might be short for some people, but for this game it felt just right. The story was interesting, so were the characters and it has beautiful graphics. The puzzles were good, too, not too difficult but not easy either. I'd definitely recommend it to fans of old-school point&click games. The only major downside for me was the short-term memory system used in conversations, which usually ended up being frustrating.

Closest to virtual reality even today

This is by far one of the best games at making you feel at one with the game play. Genius programming and the story line is very good too.

LOVED this game

As a lover of the old POC games like Simon the Sorcerer and Monkey Island, this game gave me life. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the mini-games were a downer on the experience.

The story ruined it for me

Mild Spoiler: Killing off main characters in the attempt to pep up a half-baked story with cheap shock effects is one of the worst things a storyteller can do. That's exactly what happens here. At that point I lost interest in the game. Having read the rest of the story on the web I don't think it's really worth it playing to the end. Up to the story failure point it was on ok adventure with some nice puzzles but not really outstanding. The graphics are, well, blocky. Pixel graphics were nice in the time when no higher resolution was available, but today they are more or less an eyesore for me. Text is hard to read and facial details are non-existent. So only play this if you are a die-hard retro-adventure fan with a preference for gloomy stories.

Great game

The story was great and smart. I don't want to spoil anything but there was a nice twist I really did not see coming. The kind of twist like in the sixth sense, when you play the game a second time, you go "OMG, it was right there the whole time and I did not see it!" It's retro in it's art style but not too retro in it's gameplay. It tries to innovate in the point-&-click genre with its long and short term memory system. Unlike older games, it can be completed without cheating or getting stuck for months. If you get stuck, you can ask your teammates for advices and it generally put you on the right track without giving away the solution. It helped me a few time. It's not really hard anyway, it will require some logic an thinking sometimes but no crazy random stuff like in monkey island I wish it was a bit longer, but it's always the case with good games :)
