Red Fail
Boring plot. Boring weapons. Boring gamedesign. I really don't understand why it's called "Red Faction 2". Probably, because you can blow some walls to walk to the next location.

Short, action is OK, but some quirks
- The graphic is only slightly better, than in the first game, but on the other side, the textures here are quite blurry. Somehow it lacks detail. - the action is OK, the weapons feel powerfull, but nothing special. The weapons in RF1 had great alternative firing mode, here it is quite limited. - the single player part of the game is relatively short, you can finnish it on medium in about 6-7 hours - the whole thing somehow reminds me of one game: Project: Snowblind, also available for PC (and Playstation 2), but Snowblind was better Would I recommend it? Well, if you never played it and have some spare time, than yes, but there are some better action/shooter games (also here on GOG), that you can spend your freetime on it, if you want (Stalker series, Painkiller, Duke Nukem 3D etc.)

A let down
I really enjoyed the first game in the series so bought this recently over GOG. However in this game the plot and story is really boring and dull and the gameplay is mediocre at best and there is very little carry over story from the original game. I played it for about 15 minutes and no longer wish to play it again.. I feel ripped off :(

Extremely disappointing - avoid
As I said it's a terribad shooter on rails, compared to the original Red Faction. A downgrade for every aspect of the single played game. I don't regret buying it, since it was a bundle, but it's just a terrible, terribly-written game with an uninspiring scenario, stupid set pieces and so forth. Play the original Red Faction, forget this one ever existed.

Even Jason Statham cant save this mess
This game very simply put did not happen. I'm seriously wondering why it's here. It doesn't belong anywhere. The game itself screams bad console game, and it doesnt even have anything to do with Red Faction, since it's set on earth instead of Mars. The gameplay is bad, the enemies are boring and stupid and the weapons suck ass. Also the occasional turret sections are boring as hell.
