Realms of the Haunting

This is my all time favourite worthy of a sequel the story line is excellent. i love every aspect of this game the dark but beautiful house together with the characters and monsters contained within and in the parallel universe. cannot understand why no one has had a crack at developing this further. very atmospheric and addictive game and still raises the hair on the back of my neck. love it

I love this game and think it about all the time. It's one of the rare ones that you will always remember playing and want to play over and over. I found it difficult to launch the game through XP using all my cds from back in the day and getting it to work properly even on virtual machines that had 98 loaded on it...so I am very happy to see that I could grab it online and it was now compatible. It totally made my weekend! Great story, great gameplay, just great!

I've been a gamer for many years now and this game is absolutely the best game I have ever played. The atmosphere, story, FMV are truly magnificent and I can't say enough good things about it. I discovered this game a couple of months ago and have played it over and over again. I highly recommend this game and I am so happy to have encountered it on GOG. It's definitely re-playable and entertains me no matter how many times I have gone through it. Too bad there is nothing comparable to it out there - at least I haven't found anything to match it!!!

Ignore the dated graphics (which aren't that bad tbh) and you will find that ROTH is as fun, interesting and challenging as it was when it was first released. I adored this game when he first came out, and am loving my second playthrough. I'd suggest re-mapping your keys in DOSBOX so that you can use the more modern WASD set-up. This removes the dodgy controls, which I would say were the only obstacle to enjoying this game. I've been waiting so long to play this game again, Thanks GOG!

If ever a game was due for a remake, this is the one. I would LOVE to see this game remade to optimize today's graphics cards and other system specs In the meantime, I'll keep loving it the way it is, for it's story and FMV.
