I loved hard game since my childhood, lots frustration for great pleasure later. Hours of Ninja Giden and Contra are part of my live, i feel happy when game what can give me this same feelings what game mentioned before. But that is not one from that games! Diffuculty is hard, very hard being more precision, but that difficulty come from bad desing boss fights. No things expected, all what they have are box of suprises, nasty ones. What is oposide of rest of the game, is slow by relax meaning but still clunky, compare to others platformers on market. There is nothing what different it from others mediocer games. You can skip it, and if you looks for good bossfights skip it even more.
