Diabolic but short entertainment!
A lot of love for morbid detail is to be found here. It is a entertaining game where everything is quickly discovered, therefore the price of the game is very effordable. I would like to see it expanded with updates. I can say, the short time you spend here is not wasted at all, if you have a spot for the scenario :)

Genuinely disturbing and not fun
I've played many a gorey games ranging from Mortal Kombat to Fallout and Resident Evil to Unreal Tournament but each of these games have a consistency of being either tasteful (mind the pun) or "cartoony" with their depictions of gore. Then you have games like this, Manhunt, The Punisher and the modern Mortal Kombat games that shift into the genuinely disturbing realism territory that's uncomfortable and doesn't make said game fun to enjoy. There are lines that shouldn't be crossed and this also goes for other adult themes but this is one that crosses it so I can't recommend it. It isn't necessarily the amount of violence and gore it's the portrayal and depiction of it that makes it disturbing or cartoony. Context is key.
