"better than Skyrim"

This is with yet another low budget ero rpg-maker 'game'. If you find no value in this types of products, this one won't change your mind. But if you do find some value to them, then rejoice, because it's a surprisingly good one that achieves the not-so-impressive feat to stand out in this ocean of mediocrity. The first element that makes it stand out is its rpg system. There is a class system, with skill trees, and a variety of magic gear, which opens up the buildcrafting aspect. You can experiment with heavy healing builds, stunlock builds, self-buffing builds, beast tamer builds, evasion builds, glass canon mage builds, or any combination of the above. Don't expect too much from it, but hey, that's better than Skyrim. Everyone knows people aren't playing this game for its gameplay and spending this kind of effort on sounds pointless, but do not underestimate how refreshing it is to have something a little better than an absolute travesty of an rpg game to deliver the h-content. Speaking of which, the way the game handles the h-content is another one of its strengh. On the surface, everything is very standard. It's just the classic formula you find on all the other games of this kind, even down to the scenes themselves. The one thing it differs on, is length. The game is long. Like 25-30hours long. It took me 12h for the main heroine to the get an extra bone in her body for the first time and that's enough time to 100% 2 other standard ero-rpgm. That may not sound like a good thing for some, but it really plays to the strengh of these games : the sense of progression and escalation of the erotic content. And don't get the wrong idea, the game isn't long because of it forces you to grind or anything, it's long because there's just a lot of scenes to read through. And props to making a surprisingly positive and wholesome story when the main plot is : be the only woman in a town where everyone is a horny degenerate. The writing is better than expected.

Insanely unique

I mostly purchase H-games if they have a niche aspect or if the quality is worth the price. I can say without a doubt that Zeven is of great quality and comes as a real standout in the corruption genre. The writing of the story is just hamfisted enough to be enjoyable, and the art is well painted and varied. The pacing of this game is certainly on the slower end next to games like Karynns Prison and Lab Rats 2 in a way. It can feel a bit slow at times but that can be circumvented just by playing an easier difficulty. Certainly not what most casual people are after, but if you are considering nearly $13 on an H-game you already are not in the casual category. The turn based combat section in the dungeon is extremely deep with a class and perk system that you can invest and change your style in. More detailed than 99% of the games out there, but in the top 8 in the genre. Worth it to pick up on sale or at full price.

A diamond in the rough

This is a kagura games published title. It is expected that you install the free unrated patch which you can find here on gog's site/galaxy which turns this game into a NSFW game. This game uses the same RPG maker aestethic that we have gotten used to. Let's talk about the negatives first. The game looks great until you enable full screen which make the image look a little less sharp. It looks good but I expect more from a 2023 title. Full screen is accessed by pressin the F1 button. The sound quality is probably the worst part of the game, the volume control is found on the ingame menu screen's item - key item tab. You can adjust it there but it will revert back on occasion, it lower the volume on some of the games music but not all of it, strange. Pressing the F1 also allows you to mute the game by unchecking the boxes for BGM and SFM. Game is keyboard only and holding CTRL will speed up dialogue. This is a corruption game, an archetype in this kinds of games where the protagonist, who is often someone of a pure heart for contrast is corrupted and turned into an pervert. The protagonist undergoes a transformation towards depravity and this game offers a very slow and gradual process, which I like. I like the art style, Leticia is a cutie and the perverts in the port town become kinda charming as you progress the story. It does not hand you all the NSFW scenes on a platter immediately and is part why I give this game high rating. The x-rated scenes are really good and spicy which ranges from groping to exhibitionism, bartending, prostitution etc. The corruption gameplay takes place in the port-town itself, but the Sea gods temple is where you do combat. The combat is good and deep. You need to level up your character and choose appropriate classes and builds for each layer of the trial. A warrior class with regenration or an agile thief that apply status etc. You choose. Engrams can be added to weapons and armor to change their properties. Give it a try.

Competent dungeon crawler

TL,DR: Dungeoncrawler in the style of pokemon mystery dungeon with solid build variety. Pro: Skilltrees are well designed and varied Items can be modified after the second boss and grant cross class skills (two are equipable and each have base stats and up to six effects based on nodes from all skill trees.) The dungeon layout are semi randomized with the room shapes and paths having only a limited pool the contents of each room with chests and damging floor tiles seem to be fully randomized. Con: The difficulty setting exists but the difficulty curve is not linear with the start being harder when you have limited tools and random loot and the final bosses being just a big step up from the middle of the game. The adult content is optional but it removes very unpleasant enviromental hazards from the zones. It is also mostly a progression of events that have to be visited in the exact order as intended. There are some optional scenes that can be done at any time but the progression through the zones is very much gated by a number of scenes that need to be watched to move on. The unlockable classes need you to progress the adult story as well to be unlocked and past the first three classes their progression is tied entiely to random drops making their availablility based entirely on chance. Class locked skill points being possible loot as well makes the powerlevel of the classes inconsistent. Every playthrough being different is nice but I cannot say much about the class balance because my mage had twice the points everything else had. The later class trees never unlocked their ultimate abilities while I had most of their abilities on items.

Could easily be better

It's a dungeon crawler and corruption game. As expected, the "good" ending is when you're uncorrupt and you beat the final boss. Any other way gives you the "bad" ending. It is possible to reach the "good" ending by the way. There's several problem with that game though on that regard. If you go for the "good" ending, it looks unfinished because most of the hinted mechanics are unavailable until you get some corruption (not much, but still). It causes also some discrepancies, as the dialogs wil say something is unlock, but nay it's not because you're not corrupted. On a more playability side, the user interface could be way better. By example, you can't sell more than one item at the time. If you have 10 of the same item, you have to sell them 1 by 1 instead of just raise the number. There is no end game content, no New Game + and you can't unlock the scenes at the end. After the end (the good one anyway) you're back in the town right before the last battle and that's it. The H-scenes seem nice (no animation) but that's it. Disapointing as there are way better game despite all the work they did to have good mechanic and all.
