A True Action Classic
I fell in love with the Prince of Persia games right off the bat, many years ago. It seemed to me to be the ideal step forward in a path initiated by Pitfall so long ago. As Prince of Persia made its way into the 3D world, I will admit that I was a bit skeptical. This game takes that leap much in the same way that the original was so revolutionary in its own right. The storyline definitely develops the Prince of Persia ethos more than any before, and set the bar for future platforming 3D games in this vein. This is a must play for any that enjoy platforming and action at its best!

Nostalgic and still great
I remember playing this game on the Xbox about 8 years ago. I didn't even know there was a PC version! It's still a great game and I am so happy to be playing it again. Makes it into my top 10 list of favorite games.

One of the best action games ever
After the mediocricy of Prince of Persia 3D? POP The Sands of Time was a masterpiece... the storyline, the solid controls (albeit easy combat for most enemies where they can be defeated with the jump on them sword swing to dagger move) and fantastic graphics that still look nice to this day... a must play for action / adventure / platformer fans.

Really, what more need be said?
Is there anything I can say about this game that others haven't? Aside from a few times where the camera gets in the way, I have no problems with this game, at all. The story and characters are great and well-developed, the combat a blast, level design beautiful, and probably has the most entertaining and satisfying platforming I've ever played, platforming that probably still influences the genre to this day. If you haven't played SoT, you're denying yourself one of the greatest gaming experiences ever made.
