intriguing, immersive, charming

It's been a while since I've appreciated a game as much as I did this. Nearly everything about it is wonderful - the artwork; the minimalistic soundtrack, the characters and their interactions, the puzzles and the way that, unlike a lot of inventory-based puzzle games, they manage to be rooted in logic and sensibility whilst still being challenging. My only complaint is the fact that the story seems to reveal itself implicitly well before the game draws to a close and then simply states the elements of the story that were revealed through emergent game-play. It left me feeling slightly disappointing as I was anticipating some grand twist that would knock me off of my feet. Would recommend whole-heartedly to anyone looking for challenge/good story/the chance to explore a rich environment.

good game!

wow, I didn't expect to be able to play a "pixelated" old-school adventure game and still enjoy it in year 2014. Yet, I was proven wrong! I was hearing the name of Wadjet eye a lot, but now I understand that their games, must be gems! Beautiful writing, great moral questions, atmospheric music and excellent voice acting! Really enjoyable! Thank you!

Immersive dystopian romp, however...

I loved the setting, story, characters, art style, even music, and would give five stars if Primordia had a cleaner look with more pixels (and no need to hunt them) and if the things Horatio needs to do in order to progress always made sense. Still enjoyable.

Post Apo à la Wadjet

Un autre jeu de Wadjet Eye, du même calibre que Resonance ou Gemini Rue. Celui-ci se déroule dans un monde où les humains n'existent plus et seuls les robots survivent, à défaut de vivre. Nous incarnons l'androide Horiato accompagné du petit robot volant Crispin (créé par Horiato) et tout commence quand un vilain gros robot vient nous voler notre source d'énergie. Comme les autres jeux de Wadjet Eye, Primordia propose plusieurs fins. Il parait même qu'il y a plusieurs manières de résoudre les énigmes (ne l'ayant fait qu'une fois, je n'ai pas pu le constater par moi-même). Le background se découvre au fur et à mesure et est très très riche. Le ton est plutôt sérieux, mais Crispin vient rajouter de bonnes notes d'humour (vraiment marrant, ce robot). Les voix sont de très bonnes facture et comme d'habitude, le générique de fin est accompagné d'une très belle musique. Je le recommande aux amateurs de point'n click non rebutés par des graphismes old school (pixelisés).

Beautiful and engaging universe

I most admit, I was a bit skeptical before buying this game. I saw the graphic and though "meh", but it was cheap so i went ahead and bought it anyway, and holy jesus that was a good decision. It is one of the most engaging games I ever played. The game may be short, but you are entrapped by the games world, in a matter of seconds. If you lobe adventure, great story telling and beautiful environment design, this is a game for you
