Farewell to the best CRPG of our time

This was the mighty DLC us fans had been waiting for and is a perfect love letter goodbye to the fans of the game. We get fully voiced dialogue, proper romances, great new archetypes (Arcanist Deceiver, Monk Drunken Master to name a couple), non-combat events and a chunky patch that fixes over 1000 bugs. This is it. This DLC perfects the game and makes it the best, longest, most content-filled CRPG of our time (yes even more so than Baldur's Gate 3). We may never get another game like this again.

Love how Owlcat supports the community!

After putting in almost 250 hours into this game, I can say for sure that I love it. It's one of my all-time favorites, and the way Owlcat continues to support this game is amazing. This DLC is an excellent sendoff to WotR, giving us a great last adventure with the amazing companions we've met throughout the game. However, the true highlight is the new Devil content, which came free with the new patch. The Devil content was one of the later paths added, and it shows. However, with new content being added to it even after the game has shipped, shows that Owlcat cares for the community and is willing to listen to criticism. I'm glad to see their dedication to improving the main game, and hope we can see a similar treatment for the Golden Dragon path some day. WotR is an amazing game, and considering the quality of both the game and the studio as a whole, I'd be happy to support Owlcat in all of their future games!

The game keeps getting better

I've been playing this game since Alpha, and it just gets better and better. The recent additional Devil content was very welcome indeed, and I dearly hope that we get more content in the future. This game has so much potential, if they can really polish it up then I think it will be one of the greatest CRPGs ever made so far. I hope Owlcats makes more Pathfinder games in the future. Something like Neverwinter Nights that has multiplayer and an adventure creator would be a dream come true :)

A Dance of Masks

The art is a little deceptive, I thought we'd be going to some masquerade, haha, it's a party in Kenabres, and a full tie up with the rest of the game. I finally played through my Azata Commander to the finish for this one. My earlier attempt I ended up taking Legend in perfect chaotic fashion, lol, but this time I said nay to that Imposter :P Just in time too, this DLC perfectly celebrated the Azata path, really tying up my romance with Arueshalae, turning stuff into plants, and ending the celebrations in a way that felt very much like my chaotic good mess of a dude. I really enjoyed all of the playthroughs of WotR, and I really hope there are more Pathfinders in the future. Especially ones that feel like this one. Having mythic paths gave this SO much replayability, so much mystery and wondrous exploration. I wanted to do EVERYTHING on EVERY playthrough, and I can't say that about any other CRPGs I've come across. Hell, I've only played BG3 once through and I wasn't even that tempted to go back. So really, I have to give a huge Kudos to Owlcat Games for making one hell of a game(Lawful Evil or not :P lil hell humour)

Y'a pas de saison pour que vive...

Pour ce dernier DLC, nous retournons à Kénabres, la ville où nous avons débuté notre épopée pour assister à une fête. L'ambiance festive rappelle le prologue. Ce changement est bienvenu surtout du fait qu'ici c'est les dialogues qui sont mis en avant. Ceux-ci sont tous doublés. C'est une bonne chose car cela donne plus de vie aux personnages. L'écriture étant toujours de qualité, c'est un plaisir de que de discuter avec nos compagnons et de faire les quelques quêtes disponibles pour eux. L'histoire est OK. Nous avons un "antagoniste" qui n'en est pas vraiment un puisqu'on ne l'affronte pas directement. Peut-être dans un autre épisode ? Une arène est introduite. Personnellement, je trouve que c'est un manque d'imagination. Je comprend que c'est pour faire des combats dit "exigeants" mais c'est un énorme cliché en plus d'être mal introduit. Après ce n'est que mon avis. Si vous êtes en romance, cette aventure de quelques heures se conclue sur une scène avec votre partenaire. Pas mauvais mais pas non extraordinaire. C'est plus une "pause" dans votre croisade qu'autre chose.
