A great 90's platformer once tweaked

To play it on Windows 10 and 11, as well as fixing the music, you need to visit the GOG forums and PC Gaming Wiki: Game Fix: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Pandemonium! Under Issues Fixed, follow that guide Music Fix: https://www.gog.com/forum/pandemonium_series/music_not_looping_and_other_music_issues/page2 There should be a link for the required files in the thread on the last page. Now that it works, you can enjoy one of the most charming platformers of the 90's. The jester Fargus and his upcoming magician friend, Nikki, tries out different spells that result in their entire town being swallowed by a monster they summoned by accident. Now you have to help them and go out on an adventure to make things right once again. It is a colorful and charming platformer that brings the best of the 90's visuals with a playful soundtrack. I believe that anyone who have a soft spot for platformers should check this cult classic out.

Needs some fixes to run in windows 10/11

In order to run this game in windows 10 and 11 follow these directions from the pcgamewiki. After following the directions the game worked for me in windows 11. https://tinyurl.com/pandemoniumfix This is a classic platformer from the Sega Saturn, PS1 Era. It is hard as hell, but has charming characters and really expansive levels. I'm unsure i'd reccomend this game to anyone for the first time in the modern era, but if you wanted to experience it again for nostolgia reasons, apply the fixes linked above and have a go! I wasn't able to get a gamepad to work, but the controls are simple enough to be easy to use on a keyboard. In fact my first time I played this game was on windows 95 with a keyboard. The graphics aged pretty hard, as did the overall game design, but im a happy rose tinted glasses nostalgia gamer right now.

I love the game but...

Unfortunately, win 10 is not supported for this game. Only support win 8 or lower but no one use win 8 anymore.

Fun, fast and frustrating

Crash + Coco Bandicoot, except Crash is a Jester and Coco is a... Witch I guess? Even Fargus' spin attack has a hint of that iconic Crash spin sound. I noticed some graphical differences between this and the PS1 version - for example, the Wind effects in the later levels appear as arrows rather than as actual wind. But the game still plays fine. It's frustrating at times, especially in the later stages (like how Crash Bandicoot is - yet another similarity). Where this game stands apart is the free switching between 2 playable characters, who have their own unique abilities. These abilities might not serve much (one has an attack, the other has a double jump), but it means that depending who you play as, you can traverse the level in a unique way. The soundtrack is awesome too. I never had a PS1 myself, but I can tell this is one of the better titles on that system. Excellent to have on PC.
