Description

You've just landed on the endangered species list.


Swarms of exoskeletal aliens are ripping a merciless path of annihilation through the galaxy. Your outposts have fallen - your drop zone just became the front line. Strap a Jet Pack onto your battle armor and select from the lethal array of weaponry - you and your squad are all that stand between Earth and the savage horror of the relentless Skull hordes.

Get vertical or get dead.
Should you attack from the sky? What about escaping the cavernous depths? Shrewd use of your Jet Pack fuel keeps your options open.

Skulls hunt in packs. They swarm, they flank, and they learn from their mistakes.

A hidden gem?

Did you know… that the developers of Twisted Metal made a game for Microsoft on the PC in the 90s? And that it’s basically Starship Troopers with jet packs? It’s kinda janky. But it is pretty fun to zip around in a jet pack and blow up bugs. The difficulty is stupid, which is the game’s major downfall. I used a cheat to complete it. There’s no checkpoints, no save in game, so if you die you restart the level. And you will die. Enemies can wear you down in 4-5 shots. But… that 90s crunchy feel with lovely expansive levels along with the jet pack gameplay makes this feel like a hidden gem.

A game from my childhood

I first played this when I was about 5 years old. Brings back good memories, still an awesome game.
