You are a tool of corporate oppression. Feared and despised, you hack into the darkest corners of your suspects’ minds. You creep into their dreams, expose their fears, and extract whatever your investigation may require.

With visuals completely redesigned from the ground up, rebuilt mechanics, and even a dose of extra content, Observer System Redux delivers on the gritty retrofuturistic cyberpunk world of horror. Rebuilt stealth sections fixed the largest complaint, and the hitching in the original release is gone. The original was good, but this is great.

Overall, Observer benefits from the improvements implemented with System Redux. However, those who didn’t like the original won’t find enough changes or improvements here to fall in love. It’s still a Bloober Team game, which means a large part of it is merely walking forward and drinking in the environment and atmosphere. However, I will say there are enough puzzle elements, especially considering the new side quests, that it can’t be regarded as a pure “walking simulator.”

Achievements Hunters, skip GOG version
No particular issues or bugs with the game itself, framerate pretty stable at 60-70fps in 2k (GTX 1080, high settings no RTX). BUT 5 achievements are bugged and unobtainable. After losing hours of tries and debug, 2-3 runs, in vain, i got a refund. The bugs are here from the release day, and the devs will not have time (should i say don't want...) to fix them anymore, as they released few weeks ago The Medium. Here they are: -Outbreak -Obsessive -KPD! Open up! -Pandemic -Voxel Runner All the achievements, in the progression board, have the status "legendary" with no percentage beside, meaning no one unlocked them. "Pandemic" is now at 0.1% (and i think that percentage is only me) because i found a save (from Steam) on the web close to the end to make a test, and it has unlocked. Unfortunately, in legit way, it doesn't. Achievements hunters, with this GOG version, you are warned ;)
