Like the title says, this is probably one of Obsidian's better games. Despite some minor bugs, this is a great bargain, as it includes what amounts to 4 games in 1. If you want a good D&D 3.5 experience on your computer, look no further than NWN 2.

Seriously, this is by far one of the best RPGs I've ever played, and still play!! the best actually. Great graphics, gameplay, best 3.5 DnD adaptation, nice storyline, and if you dont like theres such a large community backing it that... well just look info about this game anywhere, if you're a roleplayer this game is a must. And, yes, it has few bugs, but just a few, and the real problem was just on early versions. Oh, did I mention the multiplayer? Its pretty sad that the official multiplayer support was suspended this last december, nevertheless the fans and community developed other ways to play on multiplayer, may it be tools or servers, just lurk a bit and Im 99% you'll find whatever you want. Just one thing before you buy this gem (cause you know you want it already), are you a master?? Then why dont you give it a try? yeah you can make your own adventures!, actually its a bit difficult, but you could always make it your way. I'm gonna get this pack for sure and play it again and again... god I need more time now..

I've played NWN 2 so much and i have realy enjoyed the game. Supercool maincampagne and very cool expensions. One little thing that botherd me was the multiplayer of the mainstory. I've tried it with a friend of me and we were totaly shocked, because if someone in the group wil talk to a NPC the rest of the group has to wait. So thats a pretty sad thing and you quickly get annoyed. There is a Mod to fix this problem but i haven't tried it out till today. For the rest the game has no complications in MP. As single-player game it rocks totaly!!!!!!!

The game is a high quality product, with some decent writing, not overwhelming complexity, and less-than impressive graphics and art concept, which are however made up for by excellent spell effects and very, very atmospheric lighting. The storyline of the first adventure is a bit generic, but truly RPG in leaving you a lot of options of tackling the problem, large enough in scope, diverse in tasks, and allows recruiting (and playstyle) of either a good or an evil party. Mask of the Betrayer is absolutely, emphatically BRILLIANT and brings a gorgeously epic storyline with multiple endings, a shocking plethora of epic character skills and spells, as well as a decent romance, and is, in fact, all a fantasy RPG fan could wish for. My only objection would be that the game is far from new and at 20 bucks not exactly a terrific deal. At 15, it is a good buy, which will keep you entertained anywhere between 30 and 100 hours.

This is one of my all time favorite games, and this is coming from someone who owns hundreds, many hundreds of games over steam, Gog and in physical format, The campaigns are fun i have played them for dozens, many dozens of hours, but where this game shines for me, is the multiplayer, it is within the multiplayer that i have spent several hundred hours, Playing on action servers, Role playing upon the dozens of RP servers, and more, even with the main servers down, it simply takes a search of google for 'Nwn2 server list' to find the direct connections needed.
