Simon Bukner, un jeune Américain qui a soif d'aventure, intègre l'armée britannique dans une Europe ravagée par la guerre en 1916. Lors d'une bataille particulièrement violente, Bukner et son bataillon sont acculés dans des tranchées obscures où ils sont témoin de mystérieux phénomènes. Leur exploration du labyrinthe leur dévoile qu'un mal plus grand encore se terre sous les champs de bataille de la Grande Guerre – Un mal se dirigeant vers notre monde, et menaçant d'annihiler toute l'humanité. Dans les profondeurs de ce monde jusque-là inconnu, Bukner doit affronter les forces des ténèbres et combattre pour la survie de l'humanité.

HAHAHAHAHA .... This is one of the funniest games I have ever played. When zombies attack you he says "Stop It" like "Dont do that knock it off" ... the dialog in this game is hillarious.. Overall I had fun playing it. I blew a good 2 hours on this. It reminds of Wolfenstein and Quake 4. Some of the combat ideas are good. Its cool when you run out of bullets and u can kick and hit gun in a combo they call it juggling. Only complaint is character faces could look better. Graphics other wise were really good explosions in trenches cool effects airplanes flying and exploading but the character faces look half hearted. Definately gonna play thru it its fun and ridiculous.
This game is quite possibly one of the only ones I have ever playhed in a state of pure bafflement. Every single level, every single line of dialogue, every individual enemy and concept in this game comes together to make a game that is so incredibly terrible, it is hilarious, and well worth a play.
The reason I'm choosing to give three stars is a way to give a warning: If you're not willing to trudge through a game that consistently has levels that last 30+ minutes (excluding checkpoint restarts upon death), a game that tonally shifts so often it will give you whiplash, and put up with the infuriating lack of polish that the game suffers from in the final half of the game, then it is well worth the purchase, especially since it consistently goes on sale for $1.
Every video game sin imaginable is in this game: shoddy level design, lack of information on what is attacking/hurting you, a PLETHORA of vehicle levels, boss fights that go on forever and are almost always vehicle levels as well, text pop-ups explaining important information that disappears within seconds of it appearing on screen giving you no time to read, and so, so, so much more.
With all this said, there are some things I can genuinely praise the game for. The gameplay loop, specifically the combo system and how interconnected it is to weapons makes for a good way to pass the absurd amount of time each level lasts for. The palpable edgey energy of the protagonist and the world itself makes for a game that at the very least, is memorable. Well ok the game might only have those two things I can praise.
A decent combat system within a set of horrible levels, a plot with no tonal consistency, and a protagonist whose one liners sound like they were spoken by a high school freshman, this game is a joy to play if you can put up with the nasty bits. Highly recommend if you're a sadist or simply looking to break the mold of your gaming lately.
This game is rough, janky and ridiculous. I absolutely love it, WWI with zombies and ghosts, its absolutely crazy but in the best possible way. Basically Wolfenstein or call of duty but it just goes off the rails at every turn. If you enjoy weird jank games from the 2000's then this is a must play.
An absolutely brilliant game. Think Wolfenstein but set in WWI. Vast range of weapons from the era at your disposal, countless melee attacks combos to choose from, enjoyable game play and hordes of enemies both human and supernatural to dispose of, plus very cool and atmospheric graphics, all sprinkled with humorous Duke Nukem like one-liners. Played it plenty of times, and it was fun each and every time. Well worth the money.
This game is completely insane and goes from "war is hell" to "Kiss my ass" in basicly 0 seconds. It is flawed and even if it has it's charm and interesting ideas, the execution of those ideas is (let's just say) not the best.
Necrovision is a game set in WW1 with an american protagonist serving in the British army at the Somme with fanatic germans, not so fanatic germans, a crazy german scientist, zombies, undead mages, vampires, a scorpion tank, trolls, a talking weapon (the shadow-hand), underground civilizations, walker mechs,demons and a dragon.
The game's story is confusing at best. The maps are plain and monotonous. Some of the mechanics are not explained well. So what's good about the game? The gameplay. The killing. The comboing. Certain actions will count as a combo (headshot kills, attacking two times with a rifle bayonet the same enemy, a shotgun shot and a melee kick, kicking a enemy on the ground, just blowing up an enemy...) this will give you adrenaline (that it is used for slow-mo time, a second wind, or using the shadow-hand's spells) and fury levels (you can upgrade the levels by collecting vampire artefacts) that will give you benefits like health regeneration, increasing damage, making your enemies get electrified and just making them burst into flames and explode at higher levels. So slaughter your enemy with as many combos as you can and you will see how their bodies fly with the weird physiks. Fun stuff. This is the game at it's best.
Sadly, by the end of the game the hordes of enemies it throws at you become more tedious and repetitive to fight and for some reason you don't get the shadow-hand near half-way through the game.
All in all, the game is interesting, bad and good at the same time with a curious setting (WW1 supernatural demonic action FPS? not that common). Think before purchase, but if it's your cup of tea you might have some good hours ahead of you.
