A Classic 2D Fighting
This version is better than the ones released for the consoles during 1997. This play like a charm on modern windows.

Funny, nostalgic
A faster experience compared with the PS1 and Saturn Versions.

Classic MK Goodness
You get exactly what you think you're getting when buying this. For me, this is basically the best way to play Trilogy!

Mortal Kombat Trilogy
This game is basically Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 + (it is not three separate games.) The game play uses the same dial a combo as UMK3, but has all of the characters and backgrounds from MK 1, 2, 3, and UMK3. Noob Saibot, and the bosses, Goro, Kintaro, Shao Khan, and Motaro are now playable characters. Purple ninja Rain is a new playable character. I think most people will find this game difficult. The way the characters from MK1 and 2 were added seemed a little lazy by the developer. Their animations look a little off compared to the MK3/UMK3 characters. I didn't have any issues using my controller (8BitDo Ultimate), but your mileage may vary. It is possible to remap the buttons. I was a little disappointed with the resolution. The game came out in the mid 90s, before HD, so it shouldn't have been a suprise. Playing with my graphics software, I can only get it to either look pixilated or slightly blurry on my 1440p monitor. It probably would look good on an old CRT. If you're an MK3/UMK3 fan, I recommend picking this up.
