Similar to the way Batman: Arkham City built on the foundation of Arkham Asylum, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is bigger and more ambitious in scope than Shadow of Mordor, with great results. The way it expands the Nemesis system with far greater variety and fortress sieges makes even better use of the stand-out generated characters, and its battles with memorable uruk captains remain challenging all the way through the campaign and into the clever asynchronous multiplayer beyond.

Nemesis system is superb
Games is even better with offline functionality, no nonsense connectivity to some servers. Just plain old fun with Nemesis system and orcs, cannot beat it.

Too much stuff
Mordor got it right. This game is too involved and drags away from a lot of the fun when you get bogged down in infighting. Also why does it seem like all the enemies go for you rather than each other? Such as when you set off a graug or a nest but then they ignore the orcs and go for you, effectively making a stronger enemy force? Guess i'm just griping. Theres a lot to do in the game, with the DLC its full on. Well worth a purchase on the infrequent discount sales

Pretty Good
Once the poster child for agressive monotization, iy is now a pretty decent stealth action game. With Nemesis, which WB doesn't appear to ever want to use again, you have memerable enemies, and can shape armies. Spent nearly 100 hours on this on console, and with my shift to PC, i plan on spending 100 more. It's not like anyone makes excellent stealth action, anymore, so enjoy the excellent ones we have.
