No one else will call it what it is so I will A POST APOCALYPTIC TOMBOY DATING SIM Featuring: Cuddling, handholding, intimate discussion while you sit there silently and listen and pretend as though someone loves you In all seriousness though. I was skeptical of this game out the gate. I loved Metro 2033, Metro Last Light was... Well it was... But then I heard they were making a new game with an open world and I was immediately suspicious since open world usually equals: Low quality, filler slop I was pleasantly surprised to find this was not the case and rather the open world allows you to take new approaches to handling situations The combat is similar to the previous Metros no major improvements. Weapons are more customizable and there's crafting. But the atmosphere is amazing and the story is even better. It's between this and 2033 for best game in the series (Both being some of my favourite games of all time). But the end of Exodus had me welling up The only critique I have for Exodus is the same as all Metro games. Clunky aiming for controller. The deadzone is WAY too high for fine aim and the response curve goes from 0 to 100 immediately so even without said deadzone you have to pick between a dreadfully slow turning speed or overshooting everything at range. I played Rainbow 6 Siege at a semi-professional level so I know this isn't a "skill issue" as I would have to lower the sensitivity to hit long shots or else I'd jump the target whenever I tried to aim Other than that. Nothing bad. Great game, lots of dialogue. I'd recommend spending lots of time on the train between sections until you have exhausted all dialogue. The game is really atmospheric and I love every part of it
