This game should be free

This game is definitely a classic: the SCUMM engine was developed for (and named after) this game, it started the golden age of point-and-click adventure, blabla... All this said, I can't help but thinking it was already old when I was a kid (and I'm 40 years old, so it's saying something...). I mean, most of the game from the '90s are abandonware, how can you charge 5€ for this one? What's wrong with you, Disney's? I mean, if you get Day of the Tentacle on sale, you'll spend more or less the same money and have Maniac Mansion bundled with it for free. What's the deal?

Nice, but...

...It should be released as a free bonus for Day of The Tentacle Remastered. If you have this game already and you are not interested for Original Edition of Maniac Mansion, you can get files of Enchanced Edition from DoTTR. Unplayable version

This is NOT the original version of Maniac Mansion. The video trailer is from the original however the screen shots (and the game itself) is the enhanced version, which is already available within Day of the Tentacle. I purchased this because I wanted the original version. This version contains a glitch that makes it unplayable as well. Not impressed. The original is in my opinion the best game ever made. This one is faulty hence the one star rating.
