Worth it? No, not for another Flash game

Ok, there is a lot of various opinions about this game, but most of them is correct. I will not talk about story and puzzles, but about quality of game as is. This is SHORT, Simplified, BUGGY and generally "not feels finished" game. Right from the start it feels like someone tried to make new Machinarium and guess that? Its Flash based games. Yeah, FlashAir. In this years its just ridiculous, but developers still try that "easy to make" stuff causing problems for most customers. Moreover, many developers made Flash based games that works rather well, but not this one. Everything is slow, jerky and generally just unpleasantly sluggish. Oh yes first i tried it on Linux. Not good at all. Tried it on Windows? SAME result. So, if you want to get this game no matter what - get in on sale.

Wonderful for what it is

I read the reviews for this title before I purchased it. "Too short. Too easy. Beautiful art, beautiful music, made for kids, but NOT ENOUGH I AM HARDCORE GAMERZ TOTALLY PLZ." Well, too short and too easy was exactly what I was looking for. I gave this game to my two boys, aged 5 and 6, and it has absolutely enchanted them. They are able to solve the puzzles (mostly) by themselves. As their introduction to the concept of adventure gaming, they love it utterly. They show it off to literally everyone who comes by. They were swept away - enchanted by that first taste of quality gaming that ensnared us all at one point or another. If you're a hardcore adventure gamer, this is not your title. If you have little ones that deserve something more challenging than brain-dead TV time... this is a wonderful way to spend some family time. Love it.

Short but decent

Game is short and fairly easy. Can probably finish in a few hours. Only main complaint is a few puzzles get tedious because you have to wait for the animation to finish. If it wasn't for that, I'd give it 5 stars. Good game if new to point and click games. Possibly still good if you aren't. Just don't be surprised if you finish it quickly.

It could have been so much more

As I recall, when I bought this game years ago, it was developed by a husband and wife team as a demo. They marketed it to get more money for further development, and I think the team went to some sort of convention for game writers hoping to get support there. I guess nothing more ever came of it, which is unfortunate, because it is a beautiful game and well worth the price of admission.

feels like an episode to a neat game

the problem is its a 10 dollar episode with no episodic release schedule. Its very cute with a nice art direction. Its a simple point&click game with a web browser feel (similar to games like machinarium). But its puzzles are on the lite side and it leaves a lot to be desired. Lilly puts on special glasses which toggles the current screen youre in from being present to past. Its a cool mechanics idea with a bunch of puzzle potential, and its largely untapped. Still, if you don't mind paying 10 dollars for a couple hours of atmospheric entertainment then this isn't a bad purchase.
