Loved it, but it's lacking something
When I first learned of this game, I was confused but also excited because the premise felt so unusual - a a manned mission to distant planet and... SOVIET BUILDINGS!? How? Obviously it was a mystery that needed solving. The gameplay is a bit tedious with all the walking and jumping (some areas were particularly annoying to jump over even with the jump-pack), later on you also have to dodge evil aliens. The finale left me hungry (and all the green kinda made me feel sick). The premise is there, the storytelling is there, the ATMOSPHERE is there (seriously, there's some really nice scenery in this game, especially in the later parts), but somehow the game fails to actually give you a proper conclusion. Yes, you return home, and yes, it's implied that Aelita (the Soviet survivor you meet on the planet) is still out there somewhere, but it just doesn't feel very satisfying. I'd say it's a pretty solid attempt for (according to the developer) his first indie game. Overall, if you want something slow and atmospheric with a cool premise, this game is definitely for you. If you want action, and big twists in storytelling, then this game is probably not for you.
