Didn't capture my interest
This is mostly a walking simulator with some scripted events. If finding logs and watching small cutscenes is your thing, go for it. I want more interactability of which I found none. The storyline seems fairly generic and some of the assets stick out like a sore thumb. Jumping is fun for a few minutes.

Mario in a Space Suit
I didn't realize when I bought it how much of a platform game this is. I'm really bad at platformers, so I fell down a lot - and believe me, it's a loooooong way down! This game should carry a warning for acrophobics. Anyway, that may account for the fact that I found much more game play and challenge than some folks seem to. Aside from that, I found it to be a rare treat! There are changes I would like to see, and the story might need a little tweaking, but in spite of its flaws it was a magical experience. In spite of my frustration, I was anxious to play it again. For a first effort, it's incredible. To all the reviewers who found it boring and unoriginal, I say, "Tell me the names of any games like it! I want to play them!"

Skip this "game"
This piece of software hardly fills the expectation of "game". Its story is, almost not there, and the precious little there is is smeard across such a vast space its almost non-existent. The control are sort-of weird, strangely imprecise and inconsistent. It runs weirdly too, weird hiccups appear, often resulting in fall to the abyss. The whole world feels like a linear coridor with emty areas stuck to it and every game mechanic feels the same. <tl;dl> DONT buy this game, its broken, boring and not worth your time.

Platformer puzzle
I generally don't like platformers, and I was a little surprised that I didn't realize this would be one. So, you are going to die. Awkward controls, jetpackings, sometimes it glitches and you just fall right through the floor. But you immediately respawn at a relatively close place, any progress being permanent. There is a glitch where you can pass up a needed tool and then through respawning be unable to get back to it; in that case, you can choose to start a new game at any level you completed, and your progress (notes, findings) from your previous game will still be there. It's an amazing premise that burns out about a third way through the game when it turns out the planet isn;t so lifeless, and it turns to more generic sci-fi fare. Get it on sale, it's a good burn through 6-10 hours.
