Great Game for young and old :-)
If you have children, Lego games are just right for them, whether they are younger or older, everyone has fun with them.

Vast and polished, I didn't expect this
I didn't want to play this, I was told to buy it for someone, then told to play it with them, so I came in with no interest, like a friend being forced to watch a movie I had no self interest in Out of all the Lego Games I've played in the long distant past, where you handle a single character (not including racers or puzzle or builder specific lego titles), this feels really well done There's voice acting everywhere, sidequests up the wazoo, and soo many old movie references for an old fart like myself to laugh at (The Shawshank Redemption, GoodFellas, and plenty of celebrity cameos/parodies) If you've played GTA or Saints Row or any other open-world, vehicle-stealing, driving, flying, etc, it's THAT drowned in Lego charm TLDR; I came in like an unenthusiastic "Do I have to?" and came out as "I did not expect a MassEffect/007 scale experience"

Grand Theft Auto but Innocent
I know super strange title but stick with me. Bought this game for my little nephew and neice whose parents are very conservative. They take turns and have turn it into a wholesome Grand Theft Auto. They "steal" a car and wreck it. They wreck any scenery they can. Me " Hey you want to follow the green line and get the bad guys?" Neice " Am getting all this money! " She "steals" a car and proceeds to drive it off cliffs. But they are laughing like the future super villains I hope they aren't and having a fantastic time. Humor in it is great. What I have seen makes me want to take a closer look at the other Lego games.

the only Lego game that got to me
i don't own this on GOG but played on the Switch a few years back. i've part played all the Star Wars, Indie, Batman, and one of the PotC Lego games. i could never finish them due to how dull the gameplay become and could only stay at it for a short while on each sitting. City Undercover is quite a different beast. the questing is fun and it feels more like a genuine Lego universe. built out of the old 'real world' sets without all the bespoke IP stuff that is around now. the music and voice acting is outstanding and the changes of aesthetics for different area of the world is a treat. nothing feels drawn out too much and it's very easy to pick back up and enjoy all over again. One of my favourite open world games in past decade.
