Description
Legend of Grimrock 2 is a dungeon crawling role playing game with a modern execution but an oldschool heart. A group of four prisoners have shipwrecked on the secluded Isle of Nex. The island is filled with ancient crumbled ruins, mysterious shrines and a vast underground network of dungeons and mines. If the prisoners wish to make it out alive, they have to overcome the challenges devised by the ominous mastermind of the island.
Powers of perception and logic are more important than sheer force is, since Legend of Grimrock 2 puts a heavy emphasis on exploration, survival and challenging puzzles. Discover powerful ancient artifacts from hidden secret chambers and buried treasures. Really great game
I havent played to far into it yet but I can already tell this game is a cut above the rest. Some may look at this and say its an indie game but let me tell you, this game is an in depth, creative and challenging dungeon crwler. I played quite a bit of the first game and this game takes everything that game did right with the first person maze crawler formula and kicks it up tenfold. So much content I am excited to experience and I would reccomend this to others as well.

I can't add anything this late down the road. It is a great game and if you are into tactic RPGs, you'll like it!

Better than the 1st one.
Character creation is fun and the game feels better to play than the 1st one. If you liked the 1st one, I recommend it since I believe it to be an improvement.

Takes some getting used to but worth it
Without having played the first one, the beginning was rough. After reading through a guide it helped understand the gameplay which is based on classic RPG party-based games. There are only four movement directions, N E W S, which is literally less than the original Zork text adventure! Once I adjusted to the wonky gameplay it became quite enjoyable. The texturing is excellent, and there are an amazing number of maps and areas to explore. Even though I picked random party, there are tons of character customizations. Puzzles are realtively simple and the combat feels balanced althrough its set to easy mode. Legend of Grimrock 2 is an intriguing blend of classic and modern RPG dungeon elements that is worth the effort of learning how to play.
