Description

cant get it to work right on win10
i got it to work for a little bit then it stopped working. this game has absolutely no consistency on win10 for no reason, soul reaver 1 worked and i managed to beat it on win10 but soul reaver 2 just will not work properly.

No remote control ability
I like these type of games like this one, except for the fact there is no remote control ability but the keyboard, which I can't stand to use due to the fact that most games that only use the keyboard are all different. Plus I don't want to constantly jump from key to key just to make a move...RIDICULOUS...Suggestion is to install the ability to use the KEYBOARD or an actual remote control, like an xbox controller.

Not worth buying for PC
I loved SR1 for dc, and played defiance for ps2, but never finished this, so when it went on sale I snatched it up. I have been screwing around with getting this to work with joy2key as xpadder free no longer works on win10. Controls are awful, cutscenes are sped up 2x with voices like hamster squeaks. Game just crashed. Can I get a refund? waste of money!

Excellent story, awkward gameplay
I remembered this game as the best entry in the series. While SR1 is better what I remembered, this is a little disappointment now. The story and voice acting are both excellent, maybe the best I've met so far. Since I have played this when it came out I have remembered the plot twists and could focus on other things, For example, the annoying save system. When I was in my teens it was not a big problem that I could not save anywhere - now it definetly is. It surprised me that I could not use my gamepad, which is interesting because I had no such problems with SR1 (I mean the Gog version) and this game is not meant to be played with mouse and keyboard. Not impossible, but not as enjoyable. The puzzles are better then they were in SR1 but they are still kind of meh. The game is also a little bit short. You will either love this game or hate it, but you have to try it first to decide it.
