Here’s the deal
You are Neil Conrad, CDI agent. Awoken by the news of a murder, you rush into a case that will soon turn your life and the whole solar system upside down. Ask questions, collect evidence, and put the pieces together until the ugly truth reveals itself... or not.
No takebacks
The story branches and ends based on your actions. There's no going back. Sure, you can rush your way to the end – if you don't mind paying the price. Play your cards right, and you might make it out alive.
How far will you go?
Some questions don't have a right answer. Will you sell out a friend to protect your family? Will you endanger a loved one in exchange for public safety? Will you keep the peace or reveal the horrible, world-shattering truth?

A good story-driven game, with a nice soundtrack setting the noir atmosphere. The systeme who forces you to answer in a limited time and doesn't allow to control the saves so you have to go along with your choices and cannot try different things at once is really interesting and serves well his purpose. The only thing I would criticize is the puzzles, who are often a bit too easy.
It has a nice story behind it but i believe it would have made the whole experience way better if all the dialogues where voiced.
Especially because the game "demands" quite some reading to make decisions etc. which sometimes can feel tedious.
Other than that very good atmosphere.
I REALLY like narrative-driven games!
And I really like detective stories!
However, I cannot stand (except for a very few) point & click adventure games. I have tried so many times to get into some point and click adventure game and I usually drop them.
And it is sad too because most point & click adventure games seem to have some great storylines, but I just get frustrated with "point & click adventure game" logic.
So I absolutely adore "Lucana" because it is NOT a point & click adventure game. It is a REAL detective story that more than a couple of times tripped me up. You have to be a real detective here and the game makes that actually fun! You have to look for clues very thoroughly -- and it a chore. You have to review and re-review the evidence that you have to make the correct deductions. But again this does not feel like a chore.
And the story! WOW!!! I will try not to say much in fear of spoiling it, but it is a roller-coaster ride!!
There were SO many times I felt the intensity and weight of my choices I was so close to **completely** solving the case -- but close only counts "in horseshoes and hand grenades".
In any case, I was very satisfied with the results of my first playthrough. But this one definitely begs for a second playthrough.
The story knows how to hit in the feels but not just with the main characters. I found myself having a great amount of empathy with a quite a few side characters. I actually cared about them and predicaments.
They story also does just the right amount of monologuing; while at the same time, it knows how to pull off "show, don't tell" exquisitely. The writers really deserve kudos for creating a very well-paced branching storyline.
Final verdict: This game is a delight! A thoroughly entertaining experience and definitely worth a look. This is one that will be staying on my hard drive and downloaded on my external drive for posterity!

From the trailers it looked really interessting but it absolutely blew any expectations away.
I like the writing, it's clear and concise, you get the characters in a few words.
The gameplay is based on a system of clues and leaves some room to your deducing a few things. Nothing too hard, going throudh notes and logs once or twice has been enough so far.
I like the setting so far and I certainly want to know what happens next.
