My First review (and for good reason)
I've discovered plenty of great games through GOG, but man, oh man, does La Mulana take the cake. I've yet to complete it, but what I can say is this.. CRAZY difficult, CRAZY fun. I don't think much more needs to be said, honestly, other than, BUY THIS GAME NOW!!! Castlevania SOTN and Metroid fans, dig in! you won't be disappointed!

Retro?
Great game. Definitely worth playing (even for those 30+ hours). I am surprised that original game has been released in 2005 (!?) . Only one thing that sometimes is annoying in gameplay that on my not so modern laptop (core2duo 2.6, 4 GB RAM, Intel graphic card) game sometimes slow down soooo much. But when game is as good as this one i can take it.... :)

Cruel, cruuuuuel game.
cruel. looking at your damn fiery pit. i kept going back though, time after time trying to pass that section going further and further till the next jump that made me rage quit the game.

Exploration!
This is why indie games are more fun than the big budget ones. This is a great Metroidvania, filled with exploration. I must say that it excelled far beyond my expectations. If you like exploration games like Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, buy this. You won't be disappointed. Rick dangerous with bad controls
Don't buy this game, you WILL be disappointed. I thought it was a great fun old school platformer with new ideas. It's not, the controls are horrible (no air control ? WTF, i mean...really ? We're not in 1980 anymore you know). There have been some really great indie platformers recently like super meat boy, and even old heroes returning like rayman. Those games were great. This one isn't. If you're a masochist and like painfully hard games that makes no sense, has very bad controls (why all the keys when you could do all that with only 2 ?), no air control, poor music (very short loops), well feel free to try it. But i'd advise trying a demo first, which i didn't do and regret now. I bought it when it was 5$ and i'm really disappointed. I wish i didn't buy it. It's not worth 5$.
