Still awesome in 2025!
PCs are faster, we have control pads, soundcards, big screens, no more house chores or homework, plus the happy feelings of nostalgia :D NOTE: If your Xbox controller isn't working, make sure to set it as the preferred device, then restart the game (in windows press [Win]+R -> type "joy.cpl)

Does this install work on OG software?
I kept playing this game because I fell in love with it at my aunt's house as a child. Anyone who happens to love both Contra and Sonic will definitely enjoy it. It's a relatively easy game if you take your time. The animated cutscenes and beautiful music are golden. I refuse to buy this game until and unless I can confirm that it runs on the original hardware it was built for. One of the main reasons I favour GOG is the fact that you still support Win7, but if you're selling a Win95 game that only runs on Win10, I don't know what to say. I would like a clarification on this, and dearly hope the game still runs on the hardware it was built for.
