Instant cult classics
This game is essentially a love child of Advance Wars and FTL done right, with all the good parts in, minus all the frustrating stuff. Turn-based only, so you have time to evaluate the situation and think. A lot less random luck, a lot more skill on player's part. Think of it as a modern chess game, on procedurally generated maps, or a kind of take on puzzle genre, where you really have to think your next step in advance. Very rewarding when you finally get to understand all the tactical choices you have there and use them properly. Pixel art visuals are super well done, as well as musical score - can't get enough of those. Highly recommended to all the turn-based tactics fans.
