Five stars well deserved.

If you like puzzly games, look no further, my friend, cause you've just hit the jackpot right here ;-) Seriously though, this game is great. It's extremely addictive, it's replayable, it has a lot of variabilities game to game. It really is a great fun every time I play it. The system is also smart: there is no turn in which you're left out of options, it's just a matter of solving the puzzle right. Rinse and repeat, but it's not repetitive at all. If you got into trouble, it's because of your own doing, which makes the experience extremely fair and very satisfying when you crawl out from the hole you fell into. If you can see past its rather ugly graphics, you'll find a true gem here. And for that price tag - it's a steal!

Very smart turn based game

Feels intuitive and satisfactory. I really enjoy the limitation of the small grid and 3 squad. Great music, clear graphics and simple yet effective storyline. A small big gem.

What a game!

What can I say? This is turn based at its best and somewhat weirdest. I've put ~40 hours into this, but that's just scratching the surface. This is challenging, sometimes frustrating (because the odds are stacked against you), but oh so rewarding. Please do yourself a favor and buy this game.

One of the best strategy games of all

It is hard to believe it, but Subset games have outdone themselves by creating a masterpiece which is even better than their previous title FTL. Into the Breach seems such a simple game at first sight, but the level of depth it can reach, the options you have, the choices (the sacrifices!) that you have to make put it among the very best of strategy games that I have ever played. It is an extremely captivating game to play. It has extremely high replay value. It has excellent (and funny) dialogues, and on and on and on... A must play.

Du bonheur tout le long

Ce jeu combine des mécaniques d'Advance Wars sur un plateau 8×8 façon échecs avec pour but de protéger un maximum de bâtiments de la rage d'insectoïdes géants inspirés de l'univers de Gojira dans plusieurs environnements, avant d’assener un grand coup dans la fourmilière et recommencer. Les escouades de trois robots géants que l'on débloque au fur et à mesure du déblocage des succès proposent, dans la même philosophie que FTL, non pas une montée en puissance mais différente manières de jouer, en arrivant à être sensiblement moins aléatoire que FTL. Comme vous l'aurez compris, je le recommande sans réserve aux amateurs de stratégie au tour par tour. Je conseille de jouer en mode normal pour se faire aux mécaniques jusqu'à ce que ça devienne compliqué, puis passer en facile pour terminer le jeu et revenir en normal puis difficile pour la suite.
