One of the greatest flight games in the market! Not the most realistic simulation, but absolute blast for what it does! AI is still one of the best in flying sims and nothing comes close to it, even in newer titles in the series. Must have for singleplayer pilots! Stock game comes with content for months, QMB is there when quick fix for flying needs to be satisfied. FMB for making your own missions and because of it you can download thousands of missions from internet to give you content for years! Modding scene is still alive and gives so much more content and planes you can never ask for. Some GUI and mission mechanics can be confusion and many manuals are out of date, but once you begin to understand them they are not hindering experience. Works in Linux trough Wine like a butter. Some mods needs dinput.dll override to get them work (like Ypack 1.2.3 for 4.13.4M which version GOG ships and B.A.T for 4.12.2 version of the game). For Windows especially Win11, game will have problems and needs some adjustments in Windows settings and game's .ini files to get it work. There is many guides to get it work in the internet. If you have working joystick or full HOTAS, there's no reason not to get this game!
