Excellent
Played it to 100% completion on PS4. Was happy to hear it was coming to PC. Seeing it here on GoG and considering how good the game is, makes me put this right up there with the Witcher III, in the category of games to buy again on all platforms. Honestly even if you don't plan to play it again (that would sure be a shame to let these kind of games get away with just one play-through), it's still worth it to buy again simply to send a message that THIS is the kind of games players want and this is the kind of developers we need to encourage and reward.

Bought it because I have a soft spot for a post-apocalyptic settings. At first it seemed a bit... superfluous...? Those weird machines (I don't think it's a spoiler if I say that at some point it all starts to actually make sense), everyting kinda bloated... but I kept playing. The huge, vibrant world has something I could not let go. Vast, but far from monotony. Alive, often deadly, yet strikingly beautiful. Story - perhaps not super surprising (I've been reading/watching SF all my life), but nicely told and captivating. I'm really enjoying the game, this weird feeling from the beginning has disappeared, and even though I'm probably somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2, I'm quite sure I will not regret the purchase. Warning, warning! Windows 10 ONLY. It is there in the requirements, but it's easy to miss this.

Last gen gem for all who dare to try it
Horizon Zero Dawn is a last console generation exclusive, that now made its way to the Pc. Why did Sony let this gem out to into the wild? Obviously too hook us pc monkeys to buy the PS5 to play the next installation of this game, which will be more of the same amazing world and main character in a slightly different setting. In this case more of the same is actually a good thing: 1. Good Story, nothing that deserves the pulitzer price, but actually well thought out and immersive. It really helps to go for the Sidequests to see what the world holds for you and how it all connects. 2. Gameplay: The main focus of the game is the hunt of robot animals/dinosaurs that is mostly fun and rewarding. After figuring out the mechanics for each enemy type it can get stale, if you not up the difficulty. 3. Graphics: Considering this is PS4 generation game, this game looks amazing most of the time, but with the obvious limitations you would expect from a PS4 games, like some textures beeing at a lower resolution then in a pc game. Negatives: 1. Fighting human enemies feels way too easy and not really rewarding. This is by far the most tedious part for me. 2. Crafting can be a pain in the buttocks, when you not always pick up all the stuff and shoot all the little critters in the world. As these are really the only two things that annoyed me, i would consider this an excellent game, that everyone can enjoy!
