Hope for proper remaster.
This game has depth like no other RTS even to this day. There are some elements in the story that I would change, but the main thing that tops it all is the atmosphere. The graphics are dated but it works as a wonder in some stages. A remaster for this Jem would be amazing if done correctly.

Great 3-D RTS
Good rts with 3-d movement. Doesnt dumb down movement or unit types like Homeworld's 2 & 3. Good successor to Homeworld. Story has 5 difficulties, on average not at difficult as Homeworld campaign. Has cpu skirmish, adjustable diffuculty for all ai. cannot adjust difficulty per ai player. Story is good, a stand alone and do not need to know Homeworld lore for it. I love the ship designs for the most part. Variety of units for diff playstyles, not as many varieties as Honeworld. Great playtime value, before including online (I do not know if there are active servers). This game is the game I became a gamer over. Near and dear to my heart. Was called Homeworld: Cataclysm back then.

Brilliant Title
The game has aged but hasn't lost it's edge, it's just as good as it always was. A fantastic space strategy RTS. I don't think I need to say more.

We Will Not Be Bound!
Finally, the Bentusi live again, and are no longer bound! The original HW was a blast to play online. Played for a very long time with Old Men Online (OMO) and then this new version of the game arrived. This game was a lot of fun to play as a team online, going for crystals at the start, but risking great loss if they got blown up. Then either building the huge Cannon shot or the Infect weapon and seeing the massive damage they each caused in their own way. Multiplayer was and hopefully will be again, a ton of fun to be part of as a team. Oh, and one of the best lines of the Single Player campaign was when the Bentusi were infected, and refused to live in such a way..."No, We will not be bound!" You can hear both the bitter choice of such a decision and the determination of such a decision. Great game. Get this game and either relive, or for the first time experience a great RTS by any standard.

Amazing Game, Amazing Story
This is one of the greatest games of my childhood. Incredible story, borders on horror / thriller in an RTS game. Pure Art
