Slow starting Vampire Survivors
The game starts really slow, but picks up speed. You could say that the roguelike-elements are extremely meaningful in terms of passive-upgrades that enable various builds. ...and I don't mean single run. I mean the achievements and progress you unlock content with.

Fun Times
In a world full of bad stuff, why not take some time to shoot bad stuff in the face with multiple weapons? It's not a perfect entry into the genre but it's easily acessible, fun to play and a great way to unwind after a day of rich people trying to actively destroy the planet whilst you grind yourself to dust for peanuts :) I'm not the best barometer for roguelites but this one gave me joy, rather than misery and it looks and feels great to boot.

very addicting
ive only played like 3 runs, but i can easily see playing for ages. the upgrades are fun, and i love being able to combine upgates to make them more powerful
