Hitman: Codename 47

really entertaing game still holds up after all these years

A fun stealth game with some problems. The game sometimes crashes and the ai can behave in a weird way. When you play this game be preparded to use a guide, because some levels are nearly impossible to beat without it.

Interesting as it is to see where it all began, the game was definitely upgraded for the better in later installments. It's fun to see for the lore, but it feels like a game where you need a walkthrough to not spend hours or days even dying over and over while you figure out how to beat a single level. Still recommend for nostalgia's sake, but the fist game was in need of a lot of upgrades.

The original Hitman was one of my earlier PC games and I sunk many an hour into it. I have it here on GOG as a collectible more than a game that I'll play much but if you plan on playing the Hitman series...which you should, then start at the beginning! The wonky controls are worth it to enjoy a playthrough at least once.

It's alright if you don't mind the god-awful level design that is sometimes present and the outdated controls. Stay clear of this game otherwise.
