What else is there to say? Even in 2025 its still so much fun.

This is a really good game, a timeless classic. It doesn't hold up in all the ways, but for it's age it's still relevant in gameplay and graphics, and for something older than the reader of this review, that says a lot. There's plenty of cheesy strategies, such as necropolis, conflux, castle, or just not inferno, but it's fun with and without the metagame, and if you hotseat this with friends or family against a giant AI faction with max difficulty, you quickly find out that co-op isn't dead. I recommend this generally, but if it's on sale, as I got it for $2.50, then I question you if you don't get it.

Good old Heroes at it's best!

Game of my childhood that is the best of its class. The greatness doesn't require top graphics, it simply requires the best game experience. Love it.
