Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

This masterpiece is one of those games you will always talk about with your gaming buddies. It's been over a decade and this is still an excellent game! There is enough content here to keep you busy for hours on end and another decade if you choose so. Runs great on my 7 year old laptop. This complete version is fully patched up and has both expansions plus the campaign and map editors. If this is not enough there is a solid random map generator plus there are several hundred user created maps at fan sites online. Oh and did I mention the AI has been and still is a worthy opponent and kicks my butt today just as it done 13 years ago. So get it now if you are new to the series, if you are an old fan as I am, buy it again here and have it all digital. Best $10 you will spend.

:) Well, I'll say this. This is my favorite of this game series. Only problem was, my original copy won't work on my computer. Granted, there isn't quite as much customization in this game as there is in the 4th installment but, I always enjoyed the array of the castle types and builds. I enjoyed the map editor in this game as well; I could build world after world in no time; with the 4th installment, the graphics made the editing more difficult so I never used it. The 4th had limited maps that I only found a few to be good; but I recall this game having some great maps to play. It's been a while, and I'm still waiting for it to complete downloading, but, honestly, I can't wait to play it again. :D So worth buying it again.

I have been a gamer since 1990 and pretty much have my life tied around gaming. I'm proud of that. I have a job in the industry and I feel like a part of the biggest, most entertaining and original form of media to date. That being said, my obsession with games never left me and I've played a LOT of games. I love them, I see them as a work of art and I really appreciate the work put into creating them. If you come to me today and say that I will never be able to play any game anymore, except for one of my choosing, I wouldn't even blink before I say Heroes of Might&Magic III. It's not just the nostalgia speaking. HoMM3 in my eyes is easily the best game ever created.
