Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

Even after all these years, Heroes of Might and Magic III is still pure gold. I love everything about it — the world, the faction variety, the units, the exploration, and that unforgettable music of Paul Romero. It’s easy to learn, yet challenging to master, and somehow manages to be perfectly enjoyable for both newcomers and veterans alike. For me, it’s pure nostalgia wrapped in strategy and charm. There’s a special sense of completeness when you finish a campaign — or even better, when you gather some friends and play it old-school multiplayer style. This game is a true classic — a timeless jewel from the golden age of gaming that never loses its shine.

The best in its class and one of the best games of all times. Bought it when it was initially released and re-buying it now in its complete edition. Thank you GOG for bringing us this diamond in such a nice price!

HOMM 3, was a great sequel to the second one, which showed how grand this kind of game could be, the third is more or less known as the HOMM on steroids, pretty much improving on what that was so great about the one before, without many changes, which isn't a bad thing either. It is showed how good this game was after the 4th one came out with so many changes, many thought were too many, while others loved it still, the fifth instalment showed just how great this game was, going back to it's time when the series was the best, and simply improving upon that. But simply improving GFX isn't always enough though, expand upon it, no need for a HOMM 4 change, just more of the good. :) HOMM 2 and 3, are among my all-time greatest games.
