You must know what you are buying
I must admit that I bought the product on a whim. I knew I was going to have free time and so I was looking for a "visual novel" game where I was presented with dialogue or choice options and customizing the story. So I trusted the tags and tried. Conclusion? A total disappointment! Choice matter? Multiple endings? Imagine that you buy a bar of chocolate with almonds, and when you open it, you see a large 300g bar of chocolate... with three almonds. That has been the feeling that this "game" left me. This is NOT a game. It is ONLY a visual novel with THREE choice opportunities, two of which are inconsequential and only change a few scenes, and a final choice between three possible endings, where only one is well developed. Why three stars then? Ok... It should be better explained in GOG which is what you can expect of this product. But, if you really know what you are buying, it is good. Each character is charming in their own way. The product was carefully built. The environment feels immersive. The songs are beautiful. The conversations, with few exceptions, feels very natural. And the writing is embellished without being stuffy with a professional touch. The voice of the characters is appreciated. It makes it much easier to connect with the characters and feel the story. And as a bonus, it has being translated to Spanish. GOG does not correctly indicate all the text translations included. Would you recommend the product? Let's me ask you Do you like the fantasy genre? Do you like the romantic genre? Lesbian scenes doesn't discomfort you? If you answer yes to all three questions above, then you will enjoy this novel. Is it worth the price? If you really love the romantic genre and fantasy... maybe. If you only like it, the base price is too high. However, at the time I'm writing this, it's 50% off. So, it's at a price similar to go to the cinema. At the right pace, it will be 5-7 hours of content. At sale price, I guess it's a fair deal.
