Lost in a Land of Potential
I wish I could get back the almost three hours I spent playing this game. It feels like just a prototype, an incomplete project. It has potential, for sure, but it could have used more development. The lack of a map makes the game, which is focused on exploring, a bit of a struggle. I kept getting lost and wandering around trying to find my way. The assets are repetitive and uninspired. The camera angles are poor, sometimes hiding my character behind a mountain. The story is almost non-existent and there are things that don't make sense. I know this is an indie game and I hate to be so critical, but I've played many indie games that are truly masterpieces.
